Whether you’re expecting a new baby, downsizing or simply like the idea of siblings sharing a room, there are many reasons to transition a child’s bedroom from single to double occupancy. While there are also many concerns that may come up, such as whether the new arrangement will affect their sleep—and everyone else’s in your household—there are some design tips that can make room sharing easier, even in smaller spaces. Another option to consider is sleeping arrangements over time. Maybe you are bunking the kids now so everyone is sleeping on the same level of your house.
