The word is in and it’s Peach Fuzz! (Ok, so two words.) Pantone, a company known for forecasting global color trends, has announced its 2024 color of the year is Pantone 12-1023 Peach Fuzz. A calming blend of orange and pink, Peach Fuzz is a continuation of the warm color resurgence predicted by the color world in recent years, as seen with Sherwin Williams’s 2023 color pick, Redend Point (a warm neutral leaning into the pink family), and Benjamin Moore’s 2023 color of the year, Raspberry Blush (a bold coral tone also bordering on pink).

Peach Fuzz inspires connection and a sense of community amid a world so recently impacted by isolating and tumultuous events. "In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection, we chose a color radiant with warmth and modern elegance. A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridges the youthful with the timeless," said Leatrice Eiseman, Pantone's executive director.
